Rowan Treadway sees and hears you.

My first acting class at Downey High, the second semester of my senior year, won me Top 3 Final. The best 3 plays written out of the assigned final. My lead actress won for the category. The University of Southern California, BA in Architecture, gave me a basis for understanding a professional art, craft or technique. There are specific actions taken for every project to obtain reliable results. I had no passion for construction and followed my acting bug.
I studied with an actress in Los Angeles, whose acting mentors and trainers included, the late coaching luminaries, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, and Martin Landau. I was taught an old tradition and I’m offering that in a time of advanced media technology.
I’ve had an amazing entertainment career! Singing behind Mariah Cary on the American Idol stage might be the best job I’ve had, up to this point.
My Entertainment resume lists everything from Producing & Performing for events such as Song Leading in Christian Charismatic Churches, Corporate Gigs, background recording for Recording Artists, and creative projects for film to Television Background/Extra Work, Stage Plays & Musicals. I waited tables and sat hotel front desk shifts creating experiences for fees. I came to understand the job of the actor is the same as the host of a party. Any created experience can be of value equal to or greater than financial. Creating an experience for your self is just the beginning. Turn your gift into a skill in the laboratory of acting class.
I facilitate the actor in surprising themselves using any and every technique to step in to the life of the character. Breathing is of the utmost importance and first. Sense memory serves as a catalyst to creating experiences that mimic that of a character. Testing and trying, then seeing what works builds a relationship with self that, not only builds confidence, but provides access to the actor’s entire being for the work itself. A commitment to the work on a level of creating your own entertainment opportunities is stressed only to serve the actor. It is dangerous when artists are not in control of their art.
